Web 2.0 Project

UVI put together a project last summer for ITS to encourage staff to explore new technologies by completing "23 Things".

Learning 2.0 was an online learning program that encouraged staff to learn more about emerging technologies on the web that are changing the way people, society, organizations, institutions, libraries, and patrons access information and communicate with each other. During the course, there was “23 Things” and discovery exercises to help staff become familiar with blogging, RSS news feeds, tagging, wikis, podcasting, online applications, and video and image hosting sites.

Even though the summer project is over, I have been given the opportunity to complete the project at my own pace. So I will be posting items to this blog for each of the tasks to keep track of my progress through the course.
